A Trigger is a pre-configured condition for AWIDE alerts. If your PostgreSQL parameters we collected are outbound from the trigger values, the system will raise an alert. On the Triggers page, there will be a list of triggers with the ability to filter the list. You can filter the list by trigger status, either Enabled or Disabled. You can also filter the list by whether the trigger can be edited.
The “MENU” is of two types:
For a non-editable trigger, there is only the ability to set the trigger as Disabled/Enabled.
For an editable trigger, in addition to being able to set the trigger to Disabled/Enabled, it is also possible to change the warning, problem, and recovery values
- From the three options, select the one that is best suited to your PostgreSQL.
- Click the “Save” button to finalize the changes.
